Staying Connected

We know it’s important for you to have direct access to your finances. The RBC Mobile App and Online Banking are secure, easy and available 24/7. You can:

  • View your account balances, transaction history and RBC Bank credit card account information
  • Make U.S. bill payments
  • Manage your other banking needs

In order to see your RBC Bank (U.S.) accounts in Online Banking, first make sure you’ve set it up and linked with your RBC Online Banking in Canada.

If you’ve already set up your account and need to retrieve your username or password, choose “Forgot Login Info?” and you’ll be directed to your personal security questions.

U.S. Financial Transactions

While wires from your Canadian account may require a trip to the branch, you can initiate an RBC Bank U.S. wire over the phone. First, sign and submit via email a one-time Wire Transfer Agreement along with copies of two forms of ID (acceptable forms of ID are outlined on page 1 and 2 of the Wire Transfer Agreement). Once we’ve received your signed agreement, you can send a wire transfer by calling us at 1-800-769-2553.

You can transfer money between your U.S. and Canadian RBC Bank accounts through Online Banking or the Mobile App.

  • Transfers are free1, instant and unlimited
  • Transfer up to $25,000 per transaction

Normally this can be done through Online Banking – but at this time, you can call the Advice Centre and a Cross-border Banking Advisor can assist you – 1-800-769-2553.

These requests will be expedited and should arrive by the 3rd day after your request.

If you’re depositing a check drawn on a U.S. account, you can use your mobile device or desktop computer and scanner and deposit it remotely. Learn more about this fast and easy process.

The easiest way to make your deposit is through a transfer from your RBC Bank account in Canada, although you have other options as well.

If your account has been closed because we haven’t received your first deposit, please call us at 1-800-769-2553 and we’ll assist you with reopening it.

As a cross-border client, you have access to over 50,000 ATMs nationwide. Find the U.S. ATM nearest you.

Travel

Yes! RBC Rewards gift card fulfillments are continuing to ship within 3-5 business days. Sign in to Online Banking to view your points and redemption options.

You can call our Rewards Redemption Center at 1-877-521-2035, however please note that while the safety of our clients is our top priority and we are taking every measure to support you as quickly as possible, due to extremely high call volumes at our RBC Rewards Call Centre, clients are experiencing long wait times.
