U.S. Remote Deposit is a convenient service that lets you use your smartphone or personal computer with a scanner and internet connection to safely make electronic U.S. currency deposits to your RBC Bank checking or savings account.

Then, follow the instructions for the hardware you prefer to use: 

Smartphone:

  • Download "U.S. RBC Deposit" from your smartphone's "app store"
  • Open the application
  • Sign-in using your secure username and personal identification number (PIN)
  • Select "Deposit"
  • Enter the amount of the deposit
  • Take a picture of the front and back of the endorsed check
  • Submit your deposit
  • Select "Review" to see the deposit confirmation
  • Log out

PC with Scanner:

  • Access the U.S. Remote Deposit web site
  • Log in to U.S. Remote Deposit using your secure username and personal identification number (PIN)
  • Select "Make a Deposit"
  • Choose account to which you'd like to make a deposit
  • Enter the deposit amount
  • Select your scanner (be sure it is TWAIN compliant)
  • Scan the front and back of the endorsed check(s)
  • Submit the deposit for processing
  • Log out

As soon as you complete your deposit, we'll send you an e-mail to let you know we've received it. Then, once your deposit has been fully processed and credited to your account, we'll send you a final e-mail confirmation.
