1. Instant and free cross-border transfers
Make instant and free cross-border transfers1 between your RBC Bank (U.S.) and your RBC Royal BankTM (Canadian) accounts using RBC Bank Online Banking. There are no fees and no limit to the number of transfers you can make each month.
2. Deposit checks with your smartphone (or computer with a scanner)
Deposit U.S. dollar checks drawn on U.S. financial institutions anytime, from anywhere with our U.S. Remote Deposit2 service using your smartphone, tablet, or personal computer with a scanner. There’s no fee. Funds deposited may take up to five business days to become available.
3. Deposit checks at an ATM
Use your RBC Bank Visa‡ Debit card to deposit U.S. dollar checks drawn on U.S. financial institutions at our no-fee ATMs that accept deposits. Funds deposited at an ATM may take up to five business days to become available.
4. Direct deposit of your regular payments
Set up automatic deposits for your U.S. dollar paycheck or other regular payments in U.S. dollars you receive. Use the direct deposit instructions of the organization paying you or our direct deposit form. There are no RBC Bank fees for this service.
5. Transfer funds into your RBC Bank account from accounts you have at other U.S. banks
Use Online Banking to register accounts you own with other U.S. financial institutions, then make easy online transfers with no fee from RBC Bank. Fees at other banks may apply. Funds transferred may take several business days to become available depending on the policies at other U.S. financial institutions.
